dennis aycicek (b. Essen, lives in Cologne)
is a sound and performance artist working across live sonic practices such as noise, non-music, and post-industrial soundscapes. His work is shaped by deconstruction, empty spaces, friction and the residue of function, to set ephemeral remains in relation to the present.
aycicek is part of the cologne concert-organizing group soft rotation and co-hosts seminars and radio shows with otic radio at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne.
His work has been presented in Hamburg, Berlin, Barcelona and Ahmedabad at festivals and institutions including Blurred Edges Festival, Stromspiesser, reiheM, CCCB and Sonar+D, Moers Festival and Anant National University.
