ZONE (2026)
site specific sound installation;
sheet pile & profile, reinforcing steel, Arduino

When the essence of an industrial area disappears, silence arises;remnants cry out into eternity.
Without universal signals, danger zones become spaces of attraction.
How can such curiosity be confined? To what extent can it be decoupled from instinct, and what does such a zone need in order to protect others rather than itself?
Found objects are struck upon entering the room. The sounds are created by screeching, banging, and clattering, reminiscent of the once-lost sounds of Dortmund's industrial areas.
